And you can use any type of paint in a sprayer as long as it’s the right type for the gun you’re getting. Most sprayers can use latex, water-based paint, acrylic, primer, vinyl, alkyd, varnish, enamel, high-temperature paint, oil-based paint, epoxy, anti-rust paint, and plastic paint.
The main difference between the two paints is that acrylic paint is chemical based and latex paint is water based. Because it is chemical based, the chemicals in acrylic paint make it more elastic than latex paint. What does that mean? Acrylic paint contracts and expands better than latex paint.

DRY & OVERWORKING
Drying and overworking times are based on 21°C (70°F) and 50% relative humidity. Allow more time in cooler temperatures. Dries in 20 minutes, ready to use in 1 hour and completely dry in 24 hours. Apply a second coat or top coat within 1 hour or after 24 hours.
